It's only really a worry if he continues to be first choice next season.
As a backup, or a wise head to bring on from the bench, then I think he'll be ideal for 2017/18.

We have two transfer windows before 2017/18 really gets fully underway, but if fuming helps then let it out mate !
 
Happy with this. I think even Barry is good to keep around for the youngsters, good pro. He's still useful just not every game for 90mins.

barry will be a bit part player going forward, as shown when rested on tuesday. good option to come off the bench in last 10 mins. also needs to pick up a few more yellow cards over next 18 months to set a completely unattainable number.

Makes good sense to extend Barry, very rarely misses a game through injury and must be a great influence on younger players. I wouldn't imagine he is in a tremendous amount now anyway.

Baines does seem like a long term contract but if he can stay injury free great.

Holgate is a no brainer.

Good business all round. Steve Walsh earning his dough!
