New contract tim Howard 2016

Same here, though I wouldn't mind picking up a young keeper in the next couple years so that he can develop alongside Howard.

Been laughed at more times than I can count but I think Krul over at the barcodes is going to mature in to a good keeper as long as he's pushed but I think he just signed a new contract.

Good. Great shot stopper, and on his day - when he is narked out of his mind, becomes a being of mount Olympus form to stop conceding.

Best since Martyn, who was best since Southall.

Awesome.

And I hope with Nike coming on board it means there will be more synergy with Tim Howard representing both USMNT and Everton with Nike.

Glad to have you Tim. :)

P.S. We will once again get mentioned all over America as the US goes through qualifying, and hopefully the 2014 World Cup.

The next 4 games in a row are on live TV in the US. Fox Soccer and ESPN2. Timmy has a lot to do with that (LD helped as well). I think the sport is beginning to take another step here in the states. And having the blues mentioned every time Timmy is involved can only be good.

He is capable of world-class saves and simple errors. The former seem to outnumber the latter. And while he still needs work on punching vs. catching crosses and long shots, I feel the pros far outweigh the cons and we have him at a good value.

One of the better reflex, 1v1, and shots-in-traffic keepers I've seen in the Prem in the last few years.

He's 33.

Howard is in my opinion an even better keeper than Nigel Martyn, and I rated Nigel very highly. Fair enough, Tim will make the odd mistake, but find me one keeper who doesn't? Even the best keepers such as Cech, Reina and Hart have made the odd error, as they are only human, but Tim has to be right up there with the best in the league.
