You can take your prancy cars - I'll run you down with this beast.

the cars of the must have people i.e. x5's, range rover sports etc, i'm sure you know the 'types', are going for feck all on the 2nd hand market, partly because all of a sudden there are loads of them available at the same time.
let someone else take the depreciation knock, scoop it up 2nd hand and stick an EFC reg on. my jeep cost the previous owner £37,000, 5 years on i gave him £5,000, it was the first of a newer shape and the numbers on my reg are 806, at first glance everyone thought it was an '06 as they were the same shape in that year. it is far comfier than a mates x5 and anothers r.r. sport, and has just about all you need, plus when you go out in the wet it's like sticking your wellies on and going sploshing round. this is the tonka you had as a lad.
an it's lpg, so quite economical

while you can kind of pull it off with an Audi.

Ah right, for dogging, is it?

You can pick up ex CID motors cheap-ish, serviced and checked daily, always gen parts, and not as thrashed as the panda's.

example:

bmw convertible 320ci motorsport ex police car

They also do V70 T5's for buttons if you think you'd want something more practical.

Alternatively, you can currently get a 6l VXR Monaro, fully loaded for about 11/12k, if you can afford to run it

Awesome car! Long wheelbase and big-ass Chevy Corvette V8 (an LS6 I do believe). The slip angles you can induce in this car and look like a pro doing it.......

How about a Nissan Cube? Or if you want to go a little more pricey I'd love a Subaru WRX hatchback.
