My new car makes me happy. Had a 2015 Escape (Kuga). Hardly any miles on it but no rear heat/cool, computer system was Microsoft sync, which had issues like not understanding me and eventually not understanding anything requiring me to disconnect the battery, and the speakers were bum.
Got a 2026 Mazda CX-50 hybrid. They gave me a decent trade value and it was cheaper than the two competitors (Honda CRV and Toyota Rav4), so I got a higher trim level with Bose speakers and an electric sun/moon roof. Bought a cargo cover for the back to stop prying eyes and a sun shield for the windscreen as the interior is black leather.
I do fear I'm gonna become one of those people who wash their own car as the car wash tried to remove the back wiper with its blow dryer and that's the only "touchless" wash nearby.
