new away kit

I agree doubt if 3 kits will be the same you never know with the contempt nike show us. the white would look good with dark navy stripes.

As I was saying above, Nike have a contract with Kitbag, not us. We are being given the kits Kitbag choose, not Nike. Blame the small time idiots at the club for signing the contract with Kitbag

People who long to return to Le Coq or Umbro have blue tinted specs on cos what I remember from Le Coq were laughing stock pink kits, that baby's bib 80s remake kit and ridiculous camaflouge goalie kits, plus tacky training gear that made Moyes and the players look like belonging to a league 1 in the dugout. And With Umbro, template kits like the one we payed the 2009 FA Cup final in that was identical to West Ham's that season and kits that didn't even arrive till 2 weeks into the new season which is why the club ditched Umbro in the first place

There will be no going back to Umbro, they were bought out and completely asset stripped by Nike. The only kits Umbro still make are Ireland's and they're going to Adidas or Nike themselves like every team that used to be with Umbro has

Addidas would be terrible imo. Hate the stripes on the arms. Its such a big feature of the kit and every addidas team has the same.

Totally agree. Look at the new kits Adidas have given the likes of West Brom, Swansea, Southampton, etc. this season, they're literally identical; they've all been given the same boring template. People who whinge about Nike don't know how lucky we are to be associated with such a massive global brand instead of the nomark suppliers Le Coq and Umbro were

Biggest sports manufacturer on the planet. Fact

Make Brazil's, Barcelona and Man Utd's kits to name a few

Mickey mouse indeed

What someone to blame about our kits despite all the good stuff Nike do like the stylish training gear and heritage stuff last season and this season the polos and hoodies with nil satis on the collar? Blame Eltsone for signing the contract with Kitbag becuase it's Kitbag who actually supply our kits - they choose and buy the kits from Nike on our behalf

The Nike deal was for 3 years btw with an option for 2 more

They're mediocre gash for us. We're a drop in the ocean to them where everything is the same with a different logo.

I'd like to know the sales between Le Coq and Nike.

Record shirt sales in 09 if I remember right.

I agree with regards to the Adidas template thing, it seems Nike are a bit more creative with the shape.
Still it's hard to get creative with our home strip.
I like Le coq, but they put out some awful kits too. The 09/10 kit with the white triangle bib was terrible, and most of their away kits were pretty hit and miss too. Still, they got creative and turned up with the goods a few times, this one from 11/12 has to be my favourite home kit of recent years.

Two problems really nike dont see us as big team yet so get bog standard template[ look at arsenal, mufc, barca etc there socks are all intialled ours same league 1/2/3 just plain. also players prefer feel of nike kits.

The bib one was the biggest selling shirt we've ever had.

Umbro weren't totally gash, although it was a template, the 2007/8 home shirt with the yellow on the collar was fantastically simple. Tim Cahill owned that look.
