Everton's Jack Rodwell high on Arsenal's summer wish list

Its this sort of thing Everton need to fight off, more than ever because of where we are at the tipping point of really doing something as a club.

Wenger the leach.
Mourinho summed it up for me well on Arsene Wenger and Arsenal:

"A unique team - their coach hasn't won for years, but he's an idol," said Mourinho. "There are no pressures at Arsenal. But do not say he's growing young players into talents, because he takes jewels and polishes them."

Everton aren't where they were in 2004 as Moyesy says

Atleast now I'm not gona be expecting any signings this summer. It's better this way than how I have been pissed over 2 recent summers...full of frustrations.

Anyone who comes in would be a bonus really.

I don't know why all these "news outlets" are quoting this mantra, but they're implying Everton won't be signing anyone, when actually they will be.

He (Neville) just said we don't need them, not that we won't be signing anyone.

But those in the know (on GOT) already know we've got 3 signings already lined up....

So whats the agenda here?

Maybe the clubs doin abit of smoke and mirrors for Harry Redknapp. He's usually after our targets isn't he!

Everton lines for the media this summer:
1 We're gonner buy him him him, him him him him and him (we're going to sign everyone)
2. We don't need to sign anyone
3. We actually know who we're going to sign, we just arn't telling you.

Very clever blues.

"I don't read the newspapers....coz they all have ugly print....."

- Mos Def.

UPDATE:

Robert Elstone on local radio (for our Yank, Austrailian, Dutch, and other international friends) Radio City 96.7 in Liverpool says:

That Everton have every expectation to be in reach of the champions league spots next season and the club have already shown strong season ticket sales and this season hasn't even ended.

Speaking personally, now my Dad (buzzin tellin me about this radio interview) came over earlier saying he cannot wait for next season and he can smell the fear in the reds and because of what our team has coming through.

I agree. I also think we have no worries about Rodwell or the players coming through leaving either ah la 2004 and we've got some names on pre-contracts for next year and its only april.

IMHO.

Toffeeweb is basically bluekipper with a different name. Full of complete belters and kopites on a wind up.

"Wow! Some of you seriously need to take off those blue-tinted specs" - Toffeeweb

Stock line that. Every single comment I've seen ****s Moyes, the team and Everton off.

From now on I'm giving Toffeeweb a swerve.

Feeling quite at home on the old GOT now.

At least when we wind each other up its taken with humour and grace. Plus anymore of Toffeeweb and I'd end up topping meself!

You'd think we're gettin relegated!
