English fans didn't die. Therefore, it doesn't matter.
But the media know it mattered, as it had massive consequences for the English game (and in particular us), but choose to throw a Harry Potter cloak of invisibility over the whole thing.

Obviously once the tragic events of Monday happened, any brave news outlet that were thinking of running a story, would now just give them a free-pass.

It had massive consequences but the RS suffered most with the extra year ban. In fact, the BBC felt so sorry for them that when they got back in to the UEFA cup after the ban they showed every game that they played live.
