Everyone would squabble and fight
Dan decided to give it a dedicated place to keep it out of the way

Joyfully I think it worked quite well
Ordinary members can happily ignore it and go about their business
Eager politicos can enter at their own risk

And @Joey66 - I'm like a stuck record but I tell moderators to not moderate the current affairs forum.

We only revoke access if blues lose the plot in there, or if it's very serious (abuse and the like).

It's an unmoderated subforum that is easily avoided.

Current Affairs is excluded from the whats new/new posts feature. You can use the forum without going in it - its intentionally setup that way.

Absolutely.
But you have to make an effort to find out what's happening in Current Affairs whereas looking at "New posts" will throw up everything else.

You're on an Everton forum, so the vast majority of posters will be left wing, pro-EU and anti-Trump, so you're unlikely to get a balanced discussion on such matters. It seems ludicrous to expect anything else.

Fair enough Ihave not been on there about a week.....tbh but when it was not the ale House it did get closed down for a bit .....the GOT is a great football forum for our club ...it has plenty of jokers let's keep it friendly is a that what you are posting?
