I agree that we probably need another body up front now with lukaku's injury, just depends on if we can find quality for the right price. I'm hoping Kev gets a run up front, cause Naismith was deplorable for all his effort. Then we have depth in wingers with McGeady and Pienaar, assuming his form doesn't completely desert him like it did last night.

It's a must, Because we basically have an injured 6ft 8 striker who hasn't kicked a ball in England yet as our main option going into the next few months. Mirallas is at his best running at people, I agree in the middle but he needs someone in front of him to create space. Naismith I've got nothing against, a free transfer and he tries but simply isnt anywhere near the level you need to be pushing for top 4 in the prem. Same for Vellios.

Read the other day Redknapp wants £17m for Remey and Newcastle have first option.

Every cloud has a silver lining. Lukaku injury should give Mirallas a chance up front. He is better suited there to our style of play in my opinion. Better first touch, quicker, more technical, greedy for goals.

Maybe Mirallas can be our Thierry Henry.

Lukaku's injury might actually be a blessing in disguise. He needs some time out of the team. Everything has been bouncing off him and nothing has been sticking. Mirallas or Traore might improve that aspect and give Lukaku some time off
