Nedum Onuoha

Sorry for starting a new thread on this but I would just ask why did Sunderland not follow up their interest in him if he was available for transfer? I have seen him a fair few times and to me he is a right back who can play centre half. Always looks to me as though he is short too though not sure of his actual height. I do think selling Jags and replacing him with Nedum would be a mistake, replacing an England centre half with a player not deemed good enough for even a back up job at City does not fill me with confidence.

Anyone unfortunate to know a Sunderland fan who could maybe provide an opinion of him and why Sunderland didn't sign him?

@Fourth_Official Fourth Official
QPR have upped their bid for Onuoha to £4m, rumours that Everton want him are false #QPR #MCFC #EFC

Sounds about right after being told officially we have not got a pot too piss in.

You replace Jags withb a world cup finalist in Heitinga and have Onuoha as back up....

Is that Fourth_Official lid on Twitter worth following then? He just tweeted Yobo will be going to Fener for £2m in the next few days.

Onuoah's a sound player, wouldn't mind signing him.
