He's a striker...his job is to score goals... you're saying he does everything except his job...

....the Park End chance he missed where he smashed it against the keeper from a yard out reflects his lack of instinct. A striker at that level instinctively has a picture of where he is and is striving to put the ball to the left of the keeper.

I honestly don’t see a single part of his game that I would call effective. The fact he looks fitter this season is a reflection of the condition he got himself into last season.

He’s just not very good.
 

You’d think even by law of averages he’d of bagged yesterday. The issue is it’s not just yesterday. He’s had plenty of great chances in a team that don’t create many, and missed virtually the lot. He’s scored 1 in 28, and our premier league survival rests on someone putting the ball in the back of the net. Think for all parties he needs moving on and we need a new striker in.

Come good. The lad tries, but he just lacks the conviction. Got into some great positions yesterday, if he had any composure he’d have had a couple.

Desperately needs a goal for his confidence, but we don’t have the time to wait for it.

Doesn’t deserve the abuse online, but needs to be replaced and moved on, sharpish.
