Got to be the most pointless game in competitive match history for England tomorrow!

It's a damp squib in the World Cup and they don't bother in the euros or Champions League so why a third place match is deemed important for the new Nations League I'll never know!

Guessing you get bronze medals?

Third place matches do my head in......in any sport. Talk about after the Lord Mayor’s show.

Yeah, its very ironic to see two former Everton players who couldnt seem to buy a national team appearance when at Everton, then go onto new clubs and be responsible for every goal in the loss...and not really get blamed enough for the debacle.

Pickford on the other hand was outstanding, or it would have been 5.

Think this will take a few years to evolve but the qualification/leagues bodes well for the future. Watched a few of the league games and was good to see the competitive edge of players in the games. As for England, still a long way off being a top international side but going forward in the right direction.

To be honest I would say John Stones has come in for some serious flack after the other night.
Three days later and the Daily Fail are still hammering him.
The media are setting him up to become the next Raheem Sterling type hate figure.
They need a dog to whip and Stones who is now a Man City player is perfect for them.

Got to agree with this mate. Typical English media, build them up then shoot them down.
