2025/26 Nathan Patterson

Many people are of the opinion that looks to be carrying far too much weight/bulk. He made a ten minute cameo and was looking worryingly over exhausted afterwards with people observing that he was bright red in the face and pouring with sweat whilst struggling to breathe. He struggled with the pace of the game against Forest from the off, even the commentators made a remark that he had "eventually" caught up with play in the build up to our first goal.

You don't need a degree in sports science to make these observations and posting them on a fan forum is in no way, shape or form insinuating that you know better than qualified professionals employed by the club.
You think Moyes would allow him to get overweight?

Maldini is a legend.

Absolute World Class defender at left back and then an centre back.

You could see the quality and plus he was a hunk of a man.
The opinions of world class attacking players from that era who universally say that he's the best defender they ever faced might and I mean just might hold more weight than Charlie Sweet's

My comment still holds. Any buffoon could have played defence in that Milan team. Hell even Patto would have looked good. Takes nothing away from our own world class full backs in the 80s thanks

Doesn't look overweight to me but yes his fitness does look like it needs working on which isn't surprising when you've been continuing injured

I agree that his repeated injury record isn't conducive to building consistent match fitness. When the league he's playing in is so physically demanding it really stands out when a player is not in the required condition.

Moyes' reluctance to use substitutions to allow players to get valuable game time to build up their fitness won't have helped, but we don't see Patterson's performances/level of commitment in training so it's difficult to say whether he's been deserving of those minutes.

You would know all about personal attacks, your a disgrace in this thread and others, you rs wannabe wum.

Aggressive little man aren't ya? Would like to report you to the authorities as not sure you should be trusted to look after anyone.

I don’t think Moyes would allow it, and certainly wouldn’t then play him if he was overweight.

He lacked a lot of match fitness and match sharpness. And he was up against a very accomplished player in Hudson Odoi before they then stuck an absolute speed merchant up against him.

He did fine, nothing special, nothing awful, just fine, even if he did get beat a few times.
