2025/26 Nathan Patterson

Inappropriate Behaviour
If you insist on continuing this vicious character assassination, could I request that you take it to dm? You're spoiling the enjoyment of the thread for those who come here to discuss the performance of Nathan Patterson and you're undoubtedly being a drain on his time of the volunteers who give up their free time to moderate this forum. It's New Year's Day for them too.
You’ve smelt a bit fishy for a while, but your mask has fell off all because Patto did ok playing for Everton. Don’t dare try and tell me how to behave on here you quilt.

Go and dm you special friend chuckie, you can chat about unprecedented quadruples and spending half a billion quid to go backwards.

I'm not sure what all this means but the one part I do understand is that you think Patterson did OK the other night. I agree, I thought he filled a position which avoided having to move Garner away from a position in which he turned in a MOTM performance. All credit to him for making himself available and putting in a shift.

Imagine pushing a narrative that a professional footballer would somehow last 70 minutes in the Premier league if they were overweight ffs. You clearly have absolutely no idea just how physical the league is, most of you would be spewing up after 5 minutes of the warm up.
Some absolute rotters in this thread who will never back down because they personally don’t like the player for whatever reason. A player who came in from the cold and contributed to a fantastic away win and clean sheet yet you won’t hear some on here giving him any praise, they seemingly can’t even be happy after an away win. Strange behaviour for “Evertonians”.

Find it quite disappointing, sad and very, very odd that an Everton player trying to do his best for himself and the club and get his career back on track, after playing ok and doing a job for us in a big away win, can ignite such hatred, bigotry, bile and anger from so called evertonians on this forum.

Happy 2026 everyone, some need to give your heads a proper wobble.
Happy New Year Nath hope you're not as hungover as I am. It's very sad to see the abuse Patterson gets as he played his part after a long time out in a superb TEAM performance. As you say he's trying to get his career back on track and it will be a big benefit to us as a club if he can get a run in the team and help us out for the second half of the season so it's appalling seeing Davek and Charlie frothing at the mouth in their condemnation of him rather than actually doing what supporters should be doing and SUPPORT him in his attempts to get a run of form which ultimately helps the club they are supposed to support. Even if he gets a run in the team and plays well they'd give him no credit and will be looking to send abuse at any opportunity. For grown adults to behave this way is truly perplexing

Absolutely Clarky, it's fine not rating certain players but to make up nonsense like being overweight etc points to a personal vendetta rather than a honest appraisal of the player

How old are you Charlie?
He’s old enough to have seen Maldini, if there is one position Charlie knows about it’s full backs…

I always find it amazing that part time football fans have a better understanding of a players conditioning than the qualified experts paid to ensure the safety and performance of the players.
I only hope the experts are listening to said amateurs and put it right.
Many people are of the opinion that looks to be carrying far too much weight/bulk. He made a ten minute cameo and was looking worryingly over exhausted afterwards with people observing that he was bright red in the face and pouring with sweat whilst struggling to breathe. He struggled with the pace of the game against Forest from the off, even the commentators made a remark that he had "eventually" caught up with play in the build up to our first goal.

You don't need a degree in sports science to make these observations and posting them on a fan forum is in no way, shape or form insinuating that you know better than qualified professionals employed by the club.
