2025/26 Nathan Patterson

Someone looking for a cheap value right back in the summer id guess mate, you'd have bags of leverage with us.
I'd see him as no better than a makeweight in a deal that took say Garner away given his contract situation. A BOGOF whereby we received some cash for Garner and the wages of Patterson is taken off the payroll.

I'm of the opinion that there's simply no club out there that would have him for a fee. The story in the summer saying an Italian team wanted him was hysterical.

No mate, we have a bum who'll be seeing his contract out here.

Didn't we knock back Sevilla in the summer, his next step is backwards for sure, but someone will take him on loan for sure and have a "we can fix him mentality" IMO - with an option/obligation.

Though if we don't sign a right back this winter - he probably stays.

Sorry, yeah. Sevilla.

Itls all about keeping the big wages mate.

His agent is a genius tbf.

To get a deal for him in the PL was astounding.

Fair, but there comes a tipping point on wages and we are approaching that - were 5 years on a lower wage is better then one year at a higher one and the dudes stock is low - he needs to go out on loan and have the six months of his life to give himself any type of leverage for a future move and decent contract.

I just dont think this feller is motivated by football, tbh.

I think his daily motivation, by the looks of him, is to scoff as many fried Mars bar and neeps and tatties as he can.

I bet its pure muscle mate, he looks to me hes overdone it on S&C, he looks like his put on to much bulk as opposed to lean muscle.
