2024/25 Nathan Patterson

Probably the best we can do, I think we’d get killed through the middle and out wide but we’d cause teams problems.
He played that at Villa in the cup last year; we played so far up the pitch Villa couldn’t pass out the back. So they went long, and the Centre backs won everything

It was massive blueprint for him, so many positives. Cut the passing lanes out and win the header from the long balls. Yes you may get caught, but you also increase your chances of scoring - and we create very very little from open play

He went 3 at the back at Burnley, we battered them. It went wrong at Wolves, his arse went and he just went back to his bread and butter. Flat back 4, flat midfield 4, long ball and keep it tight

I like a 3-4-3 with our centre backs and attacking midfield options. I just think we lack in full back and centre midfield but we need to try something new for sure.

He won’t, we know he won’t. He’ll continue as is, blame everything around him, maintain the image and hope another club buy his BS

But back on Patterson, I highly doubt he’ll play tomorrow anyway

You could even play Mykolenko on the left of a back 3. I think he'd be alright there, he's solid enough at the back, he just has no attacking skills at all. He's the anti-Patterson.

Needs to be demanding a move in January. Clear third choice behind a 39 year old and a 36 year old who is constantly injured yet still gets in ahead of him without having played a single game after a two-month layoff vs Patterson's handful of reserve games and months of full training. No way he should want to stay at Everton with this manager.

He's 'kin tripe, so he can go anytime he wants. The problem is that no one will touch him with a bargepole.

Ah, on a positive afternoon for Everton, Dave's found his negativity angle, I knew I'd find it somewhere in E sector

He must be thinking his time is up. Young keeping him out of side and Coleman coming on instead of him after being out injured with months.

It's a bad indictment of him, he still seems like he's carrying tol much timber. Had high hopes for him but Dyche clearly doesn't trust him. He needs a good run of games before final judgement can be passed on him.

I don’t trust Dyches opinion on any player, but especially not on one he’s slapped about on a team bonding trip.

Coleman looked rusty and fragile when he came on, and lindstrok did some great work helping him out, Patterson should get the chance to show if he’s ok or not, but he won’t under this manager.

Probably a loan back to Rangers or something like that.

Coleman was put on in preparation for a start at Man. City and then Young will probably return for Forest match. And with the window opening simply have to get in a younger RB for Dyche and then the next manager to work with.

Patterson is done here.
