Thank god he followed that up with a superb performance on Sunday.
No, I agree he’s not deserved to be dropped. Myko on the other hand…. Particularly when we’re playing at home against a 10 man Brentford, for example.Yep ideally I think that’s what should have happened weeks ago.
Obviously Young isn’t the answer to any question but depressingly he’s been one of our best players now for about 5/6 games in fairness to him.
Is he injured, though? He often seems to be in the training videos and photos but is then not available at the weekend to be right back in the videos the following week. It definitely seems like there's something going on between him and Dyche. No idea whether he's good enough, but I'd have liked to have seen him given a run of games, with Young at left back.
Takes Mykolenko out the team, and gives us a bit of legs/bit more attacking threat down one side.
But he's always injured isn't he? Feels like he's always got a problem.
He's been in the squad for the last 6 weeks or so, just not coming on. Before that he was injured. He does seem to have pretty serious fitness issues for whatever reason, he's had maybe 3 or 4 lengthy lay offs in the time he's been here I think. Is he injured, though? A clip around the ear from your gaffer doesn't help him recover any quicker like.No idea whether he's good enough, but I'd have liked to have seen him given a run of games, with Young at left back.

After him saying he made subs to “rest legs” I can’t see it myself….wouldn’t be surprised if Dyche starts him tomorrow. I think he’s pretty much given up with this squad and knows he’s on his way out.

And not 39 year old Ashley Young who, after being bought for cover, is now playing almost every minute of every game….i hope that’s the case, I have huge concerns about Patterson.

yes he should play him as a wing back with a back 3 .......by unfortunately that's a bit out of Sean's comfort zone.….i hope that’s the case, I have concerns about Patterson’s defensive capability.
He will get a run when Dyche is given the boot... we need some youthful exuberance...No idea whether he's good enough, but I'd have liked to have seen him given a run of games, with Young at left back.
