Good to see him get games and mins. He largely did well.

There was one ball, he switched off for, was at sea, lost his man, they got inside should of scored, was thinking to myself that’s why he’s not in the team.

Hopefully any mins he get over Xmas he can build momentum, get experience and develop.
He's got that in him. Young gets caught out too like, but because of his lack of recovery pace.

There's really no substitute here though for Coleman. That player will have to be bought in the summer.

It's mad how RB has been such a problem position for us. Loans, youngsters etc... we've had shockingly bad luck there.

There should have been a calm head looking through the lower leagues for a player with lots of potential coming through. We got Baines and Coleman from that source and we've spent way too much cash spending out on tat.

Moyes would have had that RB position boxed off.

The other two lads get caught for athleticism, at 34 and 38 respectively, not experience, anticipation or awareness.

Im not being overly critical, because he was good today in the main, but that passage - I can understand why he’s not in the team, we rely on the sum of our parts to make a whole and enable the system, we can’t have a loose bolt.

I want him to develop and get games, because he needs them developmentally and we need him to have them - but that's the conundrum.

Perfectly put mate.

Has not really done anything wrong when coming on against two tough opponents, and actually improved our performance against mudryk by replacing young. If he’s given minutes he will develop into a fine rb or rwb, whos better offensivly than what we currently have in Coleman and young.

Hope He continues to boil @daveks pee, especially with decent performances. The agenda against the kids is ridiculous.

We have a loose bolt every week mate he goes by the name of Ashley Young.

Every team we play knows this ( as Chelsea did in the 1st half today )
Have you not been paying attention, every other manager see's it.

I don’t think he’s been half as bad as people have made out to be honest mate. If you remember correctly it was Patterson being targeted on the right side when starting , Young was left full until Myko was fit.

Id offer a bit mitigation to both, I think both were fairly exposed early doors at right full and left without Harrison and McNeill in the team.

Clearly Young isnt the future, it’s worrying at this stage he’s at 38 being preferred to Patterson admittedly, but Dyche in no mug either and I can see why he’s not in the team.

Either way, I think we all know it’s Coleman’s position, when fit, if he’s also behind Young, which seems the case - we need to look after his development, it’s not a god judge of football who thinks the lad doesn’t need games at this point.

We need him next season to be more developed and expierenced.

Think your argument, agenda , vendetta has just ended.
Your mask has well and truly slipped David.

Can't agree with any of this .

Seamus is the Club Captain and obvs 1st choice , but we all know he's not reliable now fitness wise.

You seem to justify why Dyche seems to choose Young who has been abysmal in all but 2 games over Patterson who has never let us down yet obviously needs game time.
You pick out one instance where he gets caught up agst the fastest winger in the Prem yet he boxed him for the the rest of the game , just read the papers everyone bar you acknowledges this bar you & one or two others.

Thought a bit more of you tbh.

Think you’re a bit triggered by Dave here to be honest mate. I like Nathan as a player, I also said in the main he was very good today, I defo think there is a player there. He was caught on the hop in one phase by switching off that undermined the whole system - so yes I can see why he’s not in the team because of phases like that in our predicament, same with Danjuma. Young i disagree, not wholly - he’s not the future, but he’s also not been as bad as much of the hyperbole on here, think you are doing Coleman a disservice here also.

Dyche doesn’t need me to justify anything, he’s kept three clean sheets in a week, so he knows what he’s at and he’s making the decisions he’s making. Young isn’t the future, nor is Coleman, it’s a worry to me Nathan isn’t getting game time - he’s 22 and never played games consistently in his career week in week out - how does he develop, how does he get experience, how does he work the kinks out of his game, how will he be ready to be a starting right back next season, if as could be more likely then not Coleman and Young both retire. We need him to be ready and he’s not.

I'm not interested in the binary entrenched argument with all the undertones here, it’s eye rolling to be honest, my only concern is that Nathan is ready to be a starting PL right back next season and watching him play he needs more expierence and he needs to play week in week out. He has developmental needs and they won’t be met second half of the season here, sitting behind Coleman or Young, the lad needs to play to become the player he should be, I’m not quite sure what you find so controversial about that take I think it’s very evident.

Until you take your blinkers off you won't see anything different.
You can count on one hand how many times he has " been done" ( they all do ) this season yet again you justify why Young is playing ahead if him.
Dyche has been fantastic but that doesn't mean he has this call right.
Everyone in football sees it.
Again bar yourself and a very few others.

BTW Dave is Dave firmly entrenched in his misguided imaginary world and it looks like that aint gonna change.

We have a really good talented young full back here that does not let us down yet needs game time, thats the managers choice & I accept that, doesn't mean I have to agree with it.
