To be fair i thought Young had a decent game today and I don't rate him.

Still think right back is the first position we should invest in.
He did but people just get on his back over anything, definitely need to sort right back still 5 years on from when we also needed to sort RB. Patterson should of been bought and loaned out when we initially got him. Same this season and I think then maybe young/Coleman would of done Until next year when Patterson may of been ready and at a decent enough level after plenty of games on loan.

He's on a 5 year deal mate. Gold plated by Stevie G and Benitez. He needs a loan and games. And prayers.

Why would you post about two irrelevant RS idols on an Everton forum? Neither of whom had any involvement in him being a part of the club?

Irish/Celtic Liverpool supporter?

Genuine question.

Best case scenario would be that he gets a loan for the second half of the season to a championship team who get promoted then they buy him, hopefully recoup half the £20m we paid for him and include a sell on clause.

Well no. Best case is Dyche drops Ashley Young for consistently performing below Patterson.

You know, common sense.

As I’ve said before, people are only on Youngs back in this way, because of the way (3) certain posters are going on about him having an excellent game etc because they need to validate their views about Patterson. Which causes others to make points against them.

Young did ok. He is consistently an fairly average performer though.

No reasoning with bigots.
You're not even an Everton supporter. You've latched onto the club because one of your boys has risen from your nonentity tinpot league and landed a million miles out of his depth in the English Premier League. Have fun arguing with Swansea or Sunderland supporters on their forums when he can't get in their team either.

You’re not an Everton supporter either, an Everton supporter wouldn’t let his bigot mindset get in the way of his judgement. Which you and the other 2 dimwits have.
It’s people like you that have ruined football for many up here in Scotland, introducing your bile into football and sucking out the enjoyment of the game for many. You’re a bumhole, at that’s all you’ll ever be.

Frank Lampard, a manager known for giving young players a chance, with Ashley Cole on his coaching staff
, one of the best fullbacks in the world in his playing days, couldn't make a player of your boy.

Strange because they played him until he got injured. You see facts don’t matter to the Bigot. They live in their own little bigot reality. Bumhole world as it’s known to the rest of society who laugh at them

When you strip all the biases away - I think it’s clear that he isn’t quite ready for the prem yet. Through no fault of his own, he just needs time and an opportunity to develop a bit more. I’d say Coleman is by far our best right back, followed by garner/ young then Patterson.

I think he has enough in his game though that he can grow into a solid prem pro in the next few years and he has had the odd game when I think he’s done a good job. The derby last year he was good and away to west ham he was solid. I think he’s a decent acquisition who just needs more time.

None of them are the answer tbh, we need to just muddle through until we can do something in the summer. Coleman is probably the best of the 3 but many forget that he has often been targeted by opposition teams in the past. It's just a bad area of the pitch for us imo.

I disagree, he and the rest of the defence were “hung out to dry” by Dyche and his selection of tactics and personnel earlier on in the season. That has changed and the whole back 4 has benefitted from it, especially Young. Who can barely get over the 1/2 way line, who is poor in possession and constantly gives the ball away cheaply. Patterson would be performing much better than Young under the present circumstances and this would be beneficial for the team as a whole as it would help the team get out of their own half and allow the team to move up the park. Here’s a prediction, it’s only a matter of time before Young gets found out again and Everton lose goals because of it.
