Wrong thread mert

Put that in the Ashley Young one .

Mert? What on earth? No surprises you'd use a word like that

His last two starts have been two great away wins. Its a myth thats he's not very good, he's had not very good games but he's also had very good games.

One thing for sure though is that Ashley Young is doing exactly what you think Patterson would do,.giving away to many chances and being a passenger

no thats from watching him with my own eyes. Patterson is easily our worst defender. Not our worst player but out worsr defender.

Chuckie sweetnsour needs to put the sherry down and get to bed - chatting absolute wham yet again.

Are you upset that the PEDs only drew with Luton lid?

Have questioned the lad this season but just dont kno why he was taken out of the team would have left him in for the cup. Then decided if he had done enough to stay in the team. Is a big season for the lad he really needs to get that starting rb position and i am not sure if dyche rates him or not

He's had runs of games but can't perform consistently well enough to stop successive managers dropping him and playing old aged teammates who should be on the fringes of the squad.

The ONLY manager who has 'dropped' him is Dyche. No other manager has dropped him.

Benitez was binned then he got injured.
Forced his way past Coleman and was only taken out of the team through injury.

Couple of reasons or the main reason is he’s not good enough? Even if Coleman and tavernier wasn’t captains he’d still be behind them. 22 and limited games he’s got around 2200 minutes of league football under his belt. Hickey has got about 8000 minutes and that’s what’s holding Patterson back could be good enough with games as of now he’s not and I don’t want him learning on the job for us 12-18 months away learning getting valuable minutes could come back a totally different player.

Patterson already pushed Coleman out of the team before getting injured.

Our defence was being praised and most saw a positive upgrade.

Think we were in the top teams in the league before his injury.

Was showing good form before that injury agree with you, is why we really need to see a run of games with him. Only way the lad will get better is starting games

Yes then Coleman pushed him back out the team and probably will push young out on his return but none of the 3 are the answer to our RB issues just plugging gaps for some stability, as well as mykolenko has done in recent games if we want to progress he’s not the answer LB and neither are Harrison or McNeil but if we’re happy lower/mid table then sure they’re probably. Sorry but I’ve never seen Patterson as progress even to an ageing Coleman, as I mentioned lacking experience and needs games and as I mentioned this stop starting that’s happening here isn’t helping go on loan and prove a point whilst also learning hopefully benefits us long term.

The only manager who gave him a run of games is Dyche then yeah?

You're either new to Everton, not an Evertonian or have a very very very bad memory.

Coleman didnt push Patterson out of the team. Patterson got injured.

he needs 1 game when he scores a hat trick

and we will stop saying he's a crap player.

is it ever gonna happen? DON'T PULL A HIBBERT LAD AND NEVER SCORE (technically he did in his testimonial...i know i know)

I’m still waiting for your evidence that I stated he hasn’t been a liability and where I was writing “nonsense”.
If you are going to accuse me of writing nonsense, in essence lying, I want to see the proof.

Funny how you ignore things when you are called out on it because there is no evidence.
