Ah, the classic Everton "initial diagnosis". Strangely, when the specialists actually get to see our players, these estimated absences tend to double or worse. I'd be holding my breath for a little longer on this one... Tomorrow, is it? Health warning until we hear from that.

I've kinda assumed he'll be out for around a month or so from the time of our next game. I doubt it'll be much less, hopefully not too much longer than the month.

Hope he's back soon Seamus does his best but is now limited going forward. I don't see Holgate or Mills playing but they should be tried with the games we have now.Patterson has started the season well he is a good player. Hate international friendlies and I don't care that they call it a league.

Holgate will be out for a few weeks yet.

If it’s 6 weeks that’s a hell of a lot better than I first thought seeing him being stretched off and people talking about how bad it looked. Hopefully he’s back up to speed by the time the fixtures start again after the WC, depending on where we are in the league hopefully should have most the squad back fit and then maybe add 1 or 2 in January and really push on in the new year.
