Naismith's knees...

Apparently when you have reconstructive surgery on your ACL's there alot better and stronger after than they originally was, so my surgeon told me.

I know it was just pre season but I was impressed with the amount of running Naismith did in that first half. He was in the right place at the right time for the goals and took them well.

Early signs are positive for me.

His knees are ****ed.
it was you who said that he was a waste of resources and disloyal rat and injury prone then someone mentioned peter reid being injury prone a waste of resources and a disloyal rat to bolton it all went quiet on the naismith front

I know it was only a friendly but i was really impressed with him to be honest. Took his first goal very well and his second and third were good also, right place at the right time, if your not in the box you wont score, he was. He is definitely not 100% fit so if he is impressing now, just think what he will be like when he is 100% fit. Looking forward to him!

I think we are in for a 10 to 12 goal season from Naismith is he stays healthy the whole way through. He has everything and more to replace what Cahill had brought us. As last night demonstrated, he makes some really intelligent, "fox in the box" type runs and always seems to be in the right place at the right time. He also has a good bit of skill and touch on him as well and I could really see double digits from Naisy this year.

he must be a natural fit lad he was 3 weeks behind the rest of the squad , must have a real chance of strarting next monday night

I'm hoping what the lad before said about your knees being stronger after that specific surgery is true.

Do you know what the club are thinking of him mate? Do we have another Rangers scalp on our hands?

20 for Jelavic, 10 for naismith? I wouldn't say it's likely but I can see it. Having a goalscorer often improves the rest of the team too, because other teams are less likely to be sitting on a 1-0 lead. When the yak got 20, Johnson, Cahill and Lescott all got 10.

Nah, I'm not doing it mate. You set a high target and Everton will smack you low, in the groin, with the hefty weight of crushing realism.
