His comments made absolutely no sense. It sounded like part of him wished he was still at a backwater bigoted club just so he could have the thrill of winning an egg cup thus denying the other half of the sectarian football divide the pleasure of winning it.

If you're brought up on that stuff maybe it makes sense. The rest of the football world that plays for bigger prizes looks on puzzled by it.

I think he'll be a useful squad player but no more. Gets into some good goalscoring positions so could be handy.

My big complaint with him is he just has no discipline to hold a position where he's picked for. You can see what's in his head: nick a goal by drifting in at every possible chance and cement a place in the team that way.

Just do your frigging job first.
