Naismith's a pretty good player but he isn't very versatile. He's a striker through and through and sticking him on the wing is a textbook example of square pegs in round holes, he should either play up front or just off the striker or not at all.

On Wednesday though he didn't help out defensively or offer us anything going forward. It's all very well running around but if it's not productive what's the point?

He spent a lot of his time back on the wing against Norwich. Him and Pienaar switched positions when it was required but he definitely wasn't deployed next to Jelavic.

it did first half before they shunted him about again.

I thought we were exceptional first half against Norwich and gave them a footballing lesson. Then we came out second half and couldn't string two passes together, set the tone for the following 45 minutes and we never really recovered.

Although not squaring the ball to Jelavic for a tap-in was absolutely criminal.
