Naismith? Thoughts?

Hes not a wide man. Proved last night because he was awful at times. However Moyes mad a mistake taking him off. When Oviedo came on we looked much worse going forward
 

Naismith's a pretty good player but he isn't very versatile. He's a striker through and through and sticking him on the wing is a textbook example of square pegs in round holes, he should either play up front or just off the striker or not at all.
 

He's been a decent enough replacement for Mirallas but he's much more of a sub than a 90 minute man. Would love to see him and Jelavic play up front together.
 

They did, against Norwich. It didn't really work as a partnership, tbh.

it did first half before they shunted him about again.

I thought we were exceptional first half against Norwich and gave them a footballing lesson. Then we came out second half and couldn't string two passes together, set the tone for the following 45 minutes and we never really recovered.

Although not squaring the ball to Jelavic for a tap-in was absolutely criminal.
