Would he get a game at any of the clubs we like to think we're competing with? Probably not.

In fact, he'd struggle for minutes at most of the clubs we look down our noses at.

He's been getting minutes in pre season. Unless a player has been injured through pre season and thus unable to play, those that have featured are in the first team plans for the upcoming season.

He shouldn't be anywhere near our first 11

He's great for when other players are knackered and we need a goal in the last 20 minutes.

I think there's always a place for a player like Naismith in your squad.

Shouldn't be starting, but has his uses in certain situations. It's down to a clever manager to use him correctly.

I'd go along with this to some extent. A couple of goals up with 10-15 mins to go and he's a good sub. Whether his enthusiasm would remain though knowing he'd be used in this way is debateable. He'd also be useful if we're well on top chasing a goal to equalise.

Other than that I don't want him anywhere near the team as he's limited and has an infuriating pseudo hardman act towards other players. He's always screaming at the officials too, but he does more damage than good as he doesn't have their respect IMO.
