blue to the bone

Player Valuation: £80m
Sixth place three points behind fourth and definitely in contention for a champions league spot. id be very disappointed if we dont at least finish top six.

Todays result was disappointing but the performance was not. without hibbo, neville, coleman, gibson, merrillas and fellaini we still competed. With a full squad i firmly believe we can be in contention for fourth right until the seasons end.

We need jella to start scoring but in fairness today we could not do any more.. he is still a top striker and will prove it. anichebe has shown he deserves a run in the side and i would not mind to see fellaini play back in centre mid for next few games especially if gibson is out, we have a few very winnable games to come to keep the pressure on

Defensivley we are not that good, distin was immense today and him and jags are our best pairing. coleman at right back offers us plenty. would not mind seeing lescott back to shore things up. Howard is too inconsistent and in the summer we neeed to look for a replacement

If we get our injuries sorted and avoid suspension and maybe add a couple of players we will be right there. today convinced me of that. we are playin some of the best football we have done in years and its up to us to grasp the chance, champions league football would keep us in the hunt for it for seasons to come.

so come ye toffees.. do it for the best fans in the world..

I think the biggest obstacle in us getting 4th is that we still have to go to Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs.

4 out of 5 of them we've never won at under Moyes.

The Arsenal and Spurs games should be the most important ones as they'll likely to be in the challenge with us for fourth so if we can get something there we stand a chance.

Other than that our home form is going to have to be good, no dropping late points against teams in the bottom 3.

The first 11 is good enough to get fourth.

Unfortunately the squads not. Im being honest I think we can only manage 5th position. Arsenals squad is better and deeper and we just cant keep everyone fit. The main players being Gibson and Mirallas

I'll only look to the Citteh game to know that we can compete with the very strongest teams away as well as home. The only thing that could stop us there is Moyes falling into his old habit of going all cautionary even against Arsenal, who frankly are a bit past it.
I'd say they have 2-3 players at the most that I would like in our team, otherwise I believe we already have the team to make us tick. They work well together, they know each other in and out, and they are definitely all good enough to go to those stadiums and play football.

Do think we have 12-14 players that are definitely able to get us into a top 4, some will need time and some will need a bit of luck. Sadly I do not think Hitzlsperger should be a starter for us, he doesn't have the legs for it, even if he does well for 35-55 mins. He was caught flat-footed several times in the 2nd half.

We've had a fair share of bad decisions and injury troubles for key personnel already, so I have a hard time seeing that change much. We've played nine draws, more than anyone but Stoke, and I can't say I've felt as if we should've been thankful for any of them. If we manage to turn only 5 of them into wins and lose the others that puts us 6 pts better off than drawing all of them again. Should definitely be a possibility.

Something does have to come loose though.
