Player Valuation: £15m
I dont want to post my thoughts about how proud i feel right now all over this forum so i thought i'd start a thread.

I'm so proud of our team and proud to be an Evertonian.

I could see a repeat of the Bucharesti dissapointment for a few seconds, but a few seconds only, i knew that we would go through.

We are in the group stages, what's that, 4 or 5 european games ?, some big name teams coming to GP, a chance for more glory nights to look forward to.

It's going to be magic lads, i'm on top of the world.

Moyes, I will never, ever, forget this moment.

It's been emotional.

We [Poor language removed] did it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES !

I feel happy tonight because for once we had the rs good fortune, they didn't last night. after all these years. Yes we were lucky, so [Poor language removed] what we deserved some luck after all these years, I am so content I sleep with a huge grin on my gob:lol:

I'll sleep well tonight as well Jim, after our last short lived excursions this feeling is going to stay with me for a long time.

i just hope we can kick on from this result and start playing like we know we can.

and start scareing teams when we play them!!

I know what you mean mate, the performance was [Poor language removed] but the result was what counted tonight.
We achieved what we had to do, and dont forget, we never dropped our heads, it was an away win in europe, hopefuly that will calm the lads and we will play like we know we can against the teams in the group stages.

I feel like we've just won the european cup my [Poor language removed] god we came back from behind twice!! [Poor language removed] me!

That was 88 very nervous minutes (I swear I nearly threw up at one point), up to that great moment when Victor did the business (actually, I was still a bit nervous after that  ). Like most, I wasn't happy with our general play, but - having reflected over a large whiskey - the players heads didn't go down, despite being second best for a lot of the game, and we came from behind, twice, away from home, in Europe - who says we didn't do it the Everton way? :D (y)

Happy days! Bring on Villareal.

The night has come to a close, at least for me, one to many, heads starting to spin a bit, off to bed and cuddle up to my warm wife, i'm sure she wont mind cold feet on her !

what a night lads, we did it.

Bring on the Toon!

No Nails left on my Fingers - a bad night for my dodgy ticker and blood pressure:blink:

But at the end of the day:---

YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(y) (y) (y)

[Poor language removed] love it. all the relieved, stressed out evertonians.

we have the best fans in the world.

so we played crap, lets suck deep from the marrow of serendipity, thank the capricious gods of football and lie back and dream of europe.

after all the barren decades, we deserve this, we earned this and we should enjoy it.

sleep well and dream of the royal blue.

It's getting a bit crowded on top of the world but I'm loving it. Hats off to Faddy and Lescott with 5 now is it? Blimey Top of the world soon to be over the moon. Night lads.(y)

You're so right

I have to say that i spent most of the match wondering over the team selection (I must admit to not knowing who was fit etc before the game). The mid field were to soft and unable to make any tackles for the first 45 mins. We were lucky (for a change!) to go in 1-0 down. But I thought we shaded the second half and deserved to win.

I think Moyes will have learnt some lessons tonight regarding his best 11 and we will begin to see some stability in team selection (unlike over the park)

from a personal perspective i would love an italian tean in the group stages as I have spent 12 months learning Italian for such an occassion.

TO all the blues who made the journey -

1.we could hear you

2.channel five were surprised at how many was your number (plus had booted off JBarnes - always a winner)

3from the tv, the team appeared to thank you throwing their shirts into the crowd etc (was this the case?)

4. In case you don't know the [Poor language removed] are bottom of their group

5. You will never have to go there again (as god is a blue!)
