With my kids it is anything by the Wiggles and Blues Clues.

For me, I think the Beatles Greatest Hits is a must, so is Oasis - Deffo Maybe, Creed - My Own Prison (I'll admit, those are 3 of the 6 cd's in the car changer right now)

But there is so much that covers so many types and moods.

In general though I have to say a lot of good taste (IMO obviously). I was going to show my age and list some oldies but I was beat to most of them.

Old Mowtown (what I grew up on) like Grand Master Flash and Sly Stone
Tom Waits is genius
English Beat, Selector
My New Wave era
Cars, Police

Best jazz group ever, Return to Forever with Correa and Clarke
Jacco Pastorius

Kidding aside, just too many great ones to pick out - many of my candidates already mentioned, but didn't see these (may have missed them though):

  • Thick as a Brick - Jethro Tull
  • Houses of the Holy - Zeppelin
  • Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert (terrible recording quality, great performances)
  • Concert for Bangladesh (Harrison and others)
But my all time favourite:

All Things Must Pass - Harrison.
