The point I was making and with which I do agree with Trump is it does need to be dealt with sooner rather than later, the last few weeks we've had Orlando, Nice, couple of attempted things in the UK, the axe man on a train and now this. If we don't do something NOW, how many more attacks will be carried out?

Everybody wants to deal with it NOW but surely just jumping in head first shouting stuff like banning Muslims, branding Muslims, building walls, etc. is not the answer.

I am absolutely positive that police, federal authorities & counter terrrorism units all around the world are doing everything in their powers to stop these attacks and are no doubt stopping some if not the majority. What Trumps rhetoric is all about is fear mongering that nothing is being done at all and that you will be a victim if nothing is done.

Indeed, and right now the only way to tackle this is on a case-by-case basis, hoping to forge local relations with communities to be able to gather information and prevent them from taking place. Frankly, I don't see a long term cessation of these acts, just fire-fighting.

In all honesty I don't think we can stop it.

It can't be stopped. It's actually genius if you think about it. You cannot stop a movement if it's whole premise is to destroy life by ending it's own. It would be a start but the UK has some of the toughest gun laws in the world but getting a gun doesn't appear to be much of a problem if you "know the right people"
