I don't know why people are saying negative things about his dad. Balkan village disputes go back generations, so it could be something Besics great granddad did. Obviously after the war lot of people kept their guns, particularly in rural areas where his family comes from. So small arguments can turn into shootings or worse. There are around 2 million Yugoslavs in Germany, they have more money than most people in the Balkans, so when they go back to their homeland whether it be Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Albanian they live like kings. That's why a lot of those who stayed behind resent the Gastarbeiter people, because they show off their wealth, which is probably the reason Mo's Baba got into trouble.
