I just finished reading this article about yesterday's incident, so I figured why not try my best and translate it.

- I went to Split 2 days ago when Everton played Hajduk. Mo was supposed to come and host a tourney in our village in Falešićima. However because Baždarević didn't called him up for the upcoming game, he was very disappointed and decided not to show up. Mo sent me 500 KM so that I could buy some food and drinks that I could give out to the people at the tourney. All the kids were of course very sad that he didn't show up so this was my way to give back to the community.

Apparently Mo's father been having a longer conflict with his neighbours and this is what he had to say.

- They always talk about me in a negative way. Everything that I've accomplished in my life is by hard work in Germany - and they're criminials. They've finessed the country for more than millions of KM, everybody knows that. They were jealous because I was organizing a tourney and everybody around here respects us. We were all having a great time but Samir Suljanović decided to record me a few times and I respectfully asked him to put down his phone. But out nowhere and without any reason he started to shoot at me. I was fighting with 3 of them with a broken arm and all of the people at the tourney were afraid to help me. They attacked me with baseball bats but at the end of the day it all went good.

Can you imagine how it would have to have gone for it to be considered to have the day not all go good?!?

I hope everyone recovers.

Happy he's on the bench, showing a lot of mental strength not to ask to be excused. Even if his dad is a wrong'un I hope he recovers, for Mo' s sake. No one should have to receive a phone call saying their dad has been shot.
