I like the fact that he's psyched up when he comes on Neil.

He's identified the other teams snide player and makes sure he " does " them pretty soon after he comes on.

Possibly, but playing it off to Besic kills Kompany's track back dead. In that situation, he's one on one with Otamendi - who he's done, yet again. He gets a return ball there and he's one on one with Ederson with space and time to think before shooting.

Dunno how people can write him off, he's had a number of standout performances for us in his limited opportunities here. Just been unlucky with injuries or Martinez dropping him for no apparent reason.

Regardless of all of the reasons behind it, he's played less than a season's worth of games in three years.

The odds are stacked against him ever becoming a regular contributor to this team, so writing him off at Everton is totally understandable. The manager has brought in players who he is likely to play ahead of him even if he is totally fit, something which he's constantly struggled with.
