And while looking for that pic, I found this one.

Doesnt he look like a delicate flower?

Behave this isn't Fifa16. He's a cheeky little pup with too much hair gel. He'd last two seconds with genuine hard men or women from yesteryear.
Where did Fifa come from? He's a tough little nut and very good midfielder is our Mo. And we haven't got many of them at Everton

You're quite the spin merchant. For the right price yes I'd happily sell Barkley and yes I'd have liked to see Walters come in during the window. The latter would have been a step up on Kone and no mistake. As it turned out I'm pretty happy with the forward acquisition we did make regardless......

I'm not a spin merchant at all.

I didn't suggest that you'd suggested selling Barkley and replacing him with Walters.

What I said was true though wasn't it? You repeatedly in the case of Barkley say that you believe we should flog him (that's your opinion, so fair enough, though if you can't see what a talent we've got on our hands then I don't know what more you want him to do?). And, you did say that you thought we that Walters, who is 33, has a pretty equal goal-scoring record to Kone, lacks any pace, and is pretty abysmal on the ball, would be a good option? But again, opinions are opinions.

But you then seriously suggested that loaning Besic to Scotland or Finland (I mean, of all the countries/lesser leagues you could pick from?) to 'develop' him...

Talk about backwards steps.

Plus our squad isn't exactly massive. As I said, as soon as Besic regains fitness he's in the team if Barry or McCarthy are out/rested.

Apologies. I don't see him as a tough little nut at all. I'd prefer to see him showing his skills in a positive sense. Actually think we are pretty strong in midfield actually compared to the rest of the squad.

Ha ha okay just some clever presentation on your part then :D

I'm not getting into the Barkley thing again but I still think Walters would have been a tidy option for us. I personally think he'd have been a good addition. He's a Blue as well do that's also a positive isn't ?!?

For Besic I'd like to see him take a step back to a lower league where he might get a bit more time and space to show what he can do. As said before he needs games under his belt more than anything at this stage of his career.

A decent spell in somewhere like Scotland could really set him up to compete with Barry in a years time or so. That's all I'm saying
