Its not that its restricted, its just that Windows Media Player has .wmv format, and iTunes has .mp3. So really its the PC that is the problem, not the iPod or iTunes.

Sure, I too used to use Windows Media Player, but then I discovered iTunes, and its much better. As is an iPod/iTouch/iPhone. It doesn't win awards for nothing, plus the designer is a British guy - which is also a bonus for me.

play.com flavour mate. When Im buying a new mp3 player it will either be one of them or one of them new Sony ones. You want one with bluetooth on it so it will cut out the music when your phone rings or for bluetooth headphones. Which Im not a fan of.
