Moyes wants to manage in Scotland

I cant see Moyes leaving us for Celtic, i think that leauge is just not competitve enough for him on a regular basis at this time in his career.

Perhaps later in his career/life Celtic and Scotland may be right for him . It does bother me though when a rich club sacks a manger he must be tempted. Although i can see Moyes with us for the next five years. I see his comments after the game as a form of brinkmanship which might work well in our favour, i think hes looking for assurances from the club that they are as ambitious as he is, and looking for them to prove it possibly in the transfer market.
 
Unless Sunderland is good enough to go to Europe in a few years, I keep getting the feeling that Man Utd might want him after Ferguson retires.
 
exactly what is the appeal of managing an old firm club anyways? you basically have 2 competitive domestic games the entire season, and in europe you just try not to get arsed too badly.

To be fair, i dont think they are that bad. Celtic have managed some great results in Europe over the past few years and put some quality teams away.

and just think of it, more money and he can put his feet up a bit more. If the boot was on the other foot, he was a life long blue we'd expect him to come home to Goodison. It has always been my concern that he will uproots and the fact that the poison dwarf is getting stick north of the border concerns me greatly
 
OK, Moyes did play for Celtic and I know what Stubbsy allegedly said, but its well know up here that Moyes grew up a Rangers fan and all his family are. The fact that he played for Celtic is no proof because unlike rangers, celtic didn't care 'what school' their palyers went to. And i dont think his celtic connection would stop him going to rangers and vice versa.

Anyway hopefully he wont be going anywhere in the near future!!!

I have a few mates from Helensborough who initially thought him to be the bizz but now moan about his team tactics, selections and want shut of him, I understand they are not alone by any means. I find it strange him not being able to out think Walter who made decisions here that were incomprehensible. Will the Celts forgive him loosing the crown this season?

Well I think hes done a pretty good job in his time, hes delivered 2 leagues, and last 16 of champions league twice (which "Saint" Martin O'neil didnt) so dont really know why ppl havent taken to him...oh wait, yes i do, because hes not a "celtic man". grew up in edinburgh as a hibs fan and played for aberdeen so fans were always goin to be on his bck but i think hes done the best he can. hes getting more of a challenge this season because rangers are decent (not good) so it'll be a test of his bottle.

I'm a Rangers fan btw.
 
Im a Celtic fan, has to be said most of the dislike is because he has no celtic roots, not only that as a player he was shall we say quite provcative to the old firm fans!

Hes also spent a lot of money, on some signings and then cast them of onto the scrap heap after a few games, not really one for the youths either!

I think if he doesnt win the leauge hes a gonner!
