Moyes to expand scouting network

David Moyes has revealed he is expanding the Club's scouting network to help find the players capable of taking Everton to the next level.

Another interesting thing on the OS is the piece on Robert Earl. He mentions that he's doing a lot on the marketing side of things at the club, which given the trouble Jon_Efc had recently is long overdue.

He also said that he has invested several million into the club and signed the guarantee to extend the overdraft.

Good to hear moyes is doing what he can to find us right player, let's hope we could find something in January, even if it is only on-loan at first, certainly don't mind having another Arteta or Pienaar alike on-loan with us for the 2nd half of the season!

Well its about time too. We have a fantastic scouting system of the local area and we have done for years, but our continental scouting compared to some of the other top english clubs is not what it should be.

With all the young players coming in i was actually wondering before what the average age was, turns out it is now down to 25.
It's been obvious for a while to all of us that Moyes is building for the future, he is doing a brilliant job, our long term success is safe in his hands.

And he's quoted as saying that he wants it lower than that too. not sure i would want it too low tho, need to strike the right balance between youth and experience.

I was a bit surprised by the comments i would have expected after five years to have had some kind of international scouting system in place im presuming for young acasdamy players!
