Moyes, Time for a change.....??????

Before Damon starts badgering me, I still think the board are the biggest problem -- by a good margin.

I just think that the manager and board can be mutually exclusive problems.

I bet someone could get this team playing. Moyes can't and never has....

i wanna see us with some gile and a bit of brains. lets play football ffs....

No - you can't ask any manager to do well with a -20M transfer budget. This league is all about money and we don't have any. That more than anything is why we suck.

Moyes has never had consistent money to spend and yet years ago we had a hard to beat team full of limited but hearty players, who, under the managers optimistic guidance brought this team back to where it should be.

Now, in a team full of international superstars the tired old manager can't be bothered making us tick because he's lost all interest for the job, with no threat of getting sacked he's happy to sit on astronomical wages and his lethargy has spread all over the club, the odd win here and there will not change that.

Moyes' peak was the F.A Cup Final and he even made us surrender a winning position then, lord knows what would happen if we where to face such similar opposition now.

This is my main gripe. People say about Artet and Pienaar leaving but we have NEVER played the free flowing football, even when they were here. Yes we played some nice stuff at times but it was in spurts followed by ourusual hoofball. Teams like Wigan, Norwich, Swansea and even Blackpool when they were up have shown that you dont have to have £200million talent on the pitch to pass and move. Its all down to the manager's philosiphy and Moyes' is to contain the other team and get the ball forward as soon as possible in the hope we will win headers and pick up 2nd balls.

When I next go to Goodison i want to have a whale of time, but if it's stays like this I can't see it happening.

Its a long expensive trip for me and I'm not being pulled by any sort of attraction other than to hang with you lot.

Of course he's done well considering that he's had no money.

However, that doesn't excuse him playing Donovan left and Drenthe right.

Drenthe can't even play a 5 yard pass with his right and neither of them are going to cut in and bury a Ronaldo-esque 25 yarder. Plus, to break down the line on your wrong foot you need to be going gradually inside. Meaning they're slower on their wrong sides, and having Vellios, Denis and Cahill in the box for crosses is pointless.

Thing is will he walk away from 65,000 per week? NO He will just fill us with the same **** post match i e We deserved something from the game : MOYES OUT
