Moyes Though ?

indeed.
I think I must be the only one left that hasn't started a should Martinez go poll in the last few weeks, I did try to start one a few weeks back when we'd won a couple of games but it "wasn't the right time for that sort of a thread"
I don't know what thread i'm in most of the time now. It's the same posters cut and pasting their diatribes about Martinez across multiple threads as if they think we don't already know what they think or that it's going to make some sort of difference. They're the same ones that pick on players when we do win.

The only rest-bite you can get these days its the multiple threads which devolve down into how much certain posters hate Howard which are just as bad. I just don't see the point of piling abuse and pressure on a player when he's not playing great to start with, it achieves nothing.

Bobby is going nowhere regardless of how much they throw their toys out of the pram when things don't go our way. Like it or not, Howard is our number one Goalkeeper, that's not going to change by booing him and clapping ironically, the only thing that's going to do is make things worse.

Some posters really need to grow up and look at it with some perspective. It's almost as if they think that the players and management are deliberately not wanting to win matches. I just hope they have more mental fortitude than the noisey bell-whiffs in our support and get themselves out of this rut. It's a tough time all round, but it's a time to support not abuse.
That's a long on for you mate! Can you sum it up in one sentence for me?

I'd rather have Martinez for the next decade than Moyes back.

People forget too quickly just how much of a dour, egotistical, self-preservationist tosser that man was for a good five years here.

So... no basically.

Sounds like one of our current players too, one that Moist brought in

Always wondered who Moyes suggested as his replacement?, I remember when he left being interviewed and saying he had spoken to Bill and given his option on who would be suitable, I could be very wrong but the jist I got at the time Martinez wasn't top of the flame headed ones list?.

Either would have been a step up from what we have.

I mean its likely they would have failed, so we would have had a proper manager in by now.
You make a very good point there, the only worry is Bill could have ended up replacing Neville or Stubbs with Martinez anyway!
