Moyes: third parties complicate things

Dixie mate, calm down, hes not worth it, just let them continue to think everything is ok.

Well sick of it. I know I write good posts, because I am passionate and I take the time to research things.

If its good or bad, at the moment its [Poor language removed] bad, and it needs to be looked at, because certain fans have their heads stuck in the clouds.

Describe really bad? IS not going into a game with 9 fit 1st team players really bad? IS losing 7 players in a season and not replacing them really bad?

Go to Starbucks and take a big deep breath.

I'll take a stab at that:

1) Moyes walks

2) We're in the relegation zone at the end of March

3) We lose one or two key players for the season due to injury

I'd say that all three of those are REALLY bad compared to what we're in now. I'd say a little perspective is in order.

Well take some of that time and do something else because it's doing your head in. Seriously.

You say some of us have our heads stuck in the clouds and yet the negative nancys refuse to admit that things aren't near as bad as they could be.

Hmmmm....

Double standards perhaps?

Moyes is part of the problem, we could very well be in the relegation zone come March. A few injuries and we will be majorly [Poor language removed].

I don't think perspective is needed mate, as we know all three of those points are not unfamiliar to Everton. I remember the 90's mate, and I also remember the last time we finished 17th, the season after we finished 4th.

Same thing happened then as now pretty much. We failed to take advantage and we lost momentum big time.

I think Everton supporters thats us must be seen as the rest of the worlds football supporters as some of the worst right now.

The incesent, bitiching, moaning ,criticising the club and arguing amonst each other is becoming pathetic.

It doesn't help morale and it certainly doesn't help the club.

Ok things are not the way we wish they could be but moaning on a forum about every little thing to do with the club is not the way to do it.

We are Evertonians for a reason lets not lower ourselves to the shites supporters.

Mate the club is in trouble. Can you not see it? Why are we not buying players? We need players yet we can't sign players, why is that?

We should have been buying players to push us onto 4th spot, but we are barely able to field a senior side. Surely there must be some alarm bells ringing? We have 10 days to sign players and I don't see anything at all.

And that statement right there tells me all I need to know Ghost.

"Moyes is part of the problem."

Too many assumptions there, researched or not.

Couldn't be that the players he wants won't come? Couldn't be that the prices wanted for the players is more than he is willing to pay? Couldn't be that the clubs aren't willing to sell to us? So there are no external factors that are having an effect on Moyes' transfer plans?

Compared to when I started supporting the club (last two years of Walter's reign) and now, I would defintely say that Moyes is not part of the problem.

Sorry to be negative, but these things could very easily happen I'm afraid. This is why everyone is so frustrated - that we can see a very bad year ahead if action is taken.

Maybe the point is, instead of having a pop at each other, we should be thinking about what we CAN do as supporters to help instigate change. I'm guilty of putting negative posts on here in the last few days and maybe it's just my sheer frustration that has led me to these.

The EGM surely has to be the first port of call. What can be done?

Oh you're right.

They could happen, easily or not.

But they haven't happened and yet people are moaning as if we are in that situation RIGHT NOW.

We aren't.

Very true. Things could be worse.

Wouldn't be Everton if it wasn't this painful! Fingers crossed we can get points on the board tomorrow. What happens on the pitch should be much more important than all the squabbling off of it.

Yak and Arteta to star again tomorrow. 2-1 blues.

Then a huge push in the last week for players. Got my red bull set aside already for September 1st!
