Moyes still looking to do some business

Everton manager David Moyes says he is still looking to do business in the transfer market: "I think we have a good team, with a strong bench, but if we lose one or two, we will be short. We will, if we can, try to add one or two. If we do not, I will still be happy."

I think he has a couple of secrets up his sleeves... This next week will be very interesting... I hope he tries to get Biglia, he is class and would fit into our team really well, similar to how Arteta used to play..

If we got another forward and centre midfielder I'd be well happy.

Think the majority of our budget should be spent on backup for Jelly, if he got injured we'd be looking at long periods of Big Vic or Vellios up top. I'm discounting Mirallas for the main forward role as not sure he has the physical presence, looks like he could be great in behind someone though.

He surely wouldn't have sanctioned the sale of Rodwell to leave just three natural central midfielders in our first team squad.

it has to be done, he surely knows he has to spend it otherwise it will be gone. would love if we could get niang for around 4 mill, shift anichebe for around 3, and then bring in donovan and a loan (CM if moyes feels junior isn't ready as neville should not be there). think we'd have a very good 18/19 players then to push for europe. he said he wanted RM and striker so you would expect these to be the areas. Ince has impressed me as well so if we could get him under 4m i'd be happy, with donovan added in jan then

Moyes has gone on record that if he can bring in another midfielder he'll loan out Ross. The obvious corollary to that is that if he can't Ross is the fourth midfielder in our first team squad.
