Moyes STILL hasn't signed.

What is Brian Laudrup up to these days?
Don't know and don't care, he was nothing compared to his brother.

Michael would bring his football philosophy of passing, but also direct football with him. Have an attacking minded-side and get us some super bargains from La Liga. Having experience from several leagues both as a player and manager is a good thing IMO as well.

Evertonians: Refusing to cross that bridge until they come to it since 1878.

I tend to lean more and more towards the argument that Summerskin preaches these days (if not with quite as much vitriol). Firstly, I seriously doubt he'll go; if only due to the huge wages he accrues and the minimal pressure that he faces from the board/chairman.

But if he does leave those massive wages, minimal pressure, and let's be honest; the stable nature of Everton as a football club, will (in my opinion) afford us the ability to look a little higher than the constant stream of revolving-door-have-a-go-hero managers that were being cited earlier in this thread.

I mean; Steve Round? You're allowed to dream a littler bigger, yano.

Just a thought, anyway.

He always leaves it until the last minute, doesn't he? I lose patience with him sometimes, but he always wins me back.
I wouldn't mind a change if there was anyone out there who looked exciting and who we could afford.
As it is, we're looking at the likes of Hughes and Bruce, FGS.

Think he will wait until the end of the season before he signs, we could get 4th or if other teams win the cups we could get no european football at all, I think he will wait until the end of the season and asses his options

I think you're forgetting those massive wages only apply to Moyes, the wages saved by giving Steve Round the job with Neville as his assistant would be massive so this is exactly what Kenwright will do....plus no money for compensation.

Some of the names on that Sky Bet list are downright scary....

This all day long. If Moyes went (and I'd rather he didnt) then I'm confident we'll get a very good replacement. Given the attitude of the owners at the likes of Chelsea and Man City, we are as good as it'll get for a huge number of managers that want to be in the premiership. I think the only negative bit would be someone being anxious about stepping in directly after Moyes' 10 year stint.

Before last Jan and the transfers and improvement in play I was much more in the Moyes out camp. Now I'm happy with what I see on the pitch but still relaxed in the view that replacing him isn't the miracle job some seem to think

Nailed my thoughts here, entirely.
