Need to chat with Bill eh Dave?

All I can see that chat comprising is potential targets, followed by ranking our players on how happy Dave will be to sell them. I can see it going something like this;

Rodwell
Jagielka
Heitinga
Baines
Barkley
Fellaini

so when you say he has no ambition do you mean he needs to rock the boat a bit more with the board? cos it seems he doesnt have the option of another club...

Adding two more quality players to the squad each season. That was Moyes boast when he first took over. He should honour that commitment or keep his mouth shut about *ambition* forevermore.

*Ambition* is the word that's going to become the rod Moyes' made for his own back...just as '*disappointing* was for Walter Smith; *deliverability* was for Keith Wyness; and *watch this space* has become for Billy Liar.

Baines to Utd. Nailed on.
Jags to Arse. Probably.
Koff Moyes.

No club *bigger* than Everton will touch a manager who's shit in Europe mate.

Moyes is essentially a number two who's been given a long time to assemble a squad of journeymen players who he can lay down the law to and dismiss or ignore any talent that comes through the door who wont conform and who he cant reach or get the best out of as a man-manager. They aren't the attributes of a manager plying their trade at an elite club. Maybe he could go to Germany or Holland or somewhere and get a job at a middle ranking club. But he wouldn't get the elite club manager wages he's on at Everton, so I couldn't envisage that either.

Entirely agree.

We've needed innovation and inspiration in the absence of money and Moyes provides neither.

He's the ultimate straight line manager, approximately where wages dictate we finish - not that I'd worry if we were getting pacey creative youngsters coming through or unearthing talent from the continent or lower leagues.

Just generally having more Sunderland performances rather than the usual pedestrian stuff that bores Goodison into a stupor.

Fingers crossed Jelly isn't a flash in the pan because other than him it's all utility and defenders he succeeds with.
