Moyes should throw some stuff at...

He has single handily kept us in the division for the past ten years, without him we're the weakest link, goodbye. Apart from that he has made the club tens of millions through, scouting, transfers, placement, TV, European Football, Cup runs. Anyone who thinks anyone on the face of the planet could do a better job needs their bumps examineing.

I dont know what the club are at, its like they have decided to put him through a massive Krypton factor of fottball management by systmaticly removeing every single tool at his disposal. Our best striker is at loan on loan at Lecister - what the hell are they putting in the sandwiches in the board room.

Like i say he would be mad to stay.

You're spot on mate. Unlike Damon I think that blame can be partitioned to everyone. Moyes' lack of financial support has been disgusting, and its hindered our progress immensely (possibly fatally).

Although Moyes was the one who fell out with and subsequently loaned out, the Yak. I said it then and I'll say it now... "cutting off his nose to spite his face" with that one.

He's also picked the wrong teams, and sat there looking at the game for too long before making changes. Then some of his changes are head scratching.

I completely agree but Damon's watching so I'm going to call BK a snide to distract him.

KENWRONG YOU SNIDE!

maybe he should throw anichebe at the rest of the team ... two birds one stone and all that

We don't want to kill the rest of the team

the players at finch farm tomorrow...

then when he sees Kenwright or Elstone ... throw something at them too.

Cups. Plates. Tables. That sort of stuff should do for starters. :@

If you misplace a pass, you get a cup thrown at you.

If you back out of a challenge a table.

etc.

If you were Moyes (i.e. the boss) what would you throw at some of these individuals ... and why?

Because watching the slow mo's today. I'm just abit annoyed with one or two.

Just like Moyes.

If you want to give the players a kick up the backside, tell them that their contracts will be based on a rating system, get below a five and you get fined.

But i see your point, today i was thinking about the whole Ferguson Boot throwing thing, and was wanting Moyes to do something similar

I think he has one of the best eyes for talent out there if im honest, just our luck we prob have one of the best judges of talent in Europe and a board with a fiscal strategy of the IMF.

I would rightly criticise Moyes if he let the Yak, Vaughan, Yobo, Pienaar, Agrad and Turner all go since May - thats before you even mention - Gosling - serious squad weakening, if im honest i think there are other forces at play here in terms of finances. Its glaring obvious to joe soaps on here - that you cant weaken the squad that much without additions and not expect to struggle. Its idiotic or just plain lunacey - to clarify i dont think Moyes is either - which leads me to think he doesnt have a choice in a lot of this, the welfare of the club is at stake and capital needs bringing in. Its the only logical explanation.

The man is a saint for putting up with what he has for so long and it has gotten a whole lot worse in the 8 months. I would be amazed if he was here in mid Aug.

Moyes' eye for talent is incredible, mate. In a business sense, pound for pound, Moyes is the best manager in world football. I really do believe that.

And if anyone's deserving of some cash to spend, it is him.

My problems with Moyes are all in a footballing capacity (poor subs, formations, man management, motivation). I'm sure the lack of funds don't help this either, in numerous ways, but to best understand our predicament I think you should always look at everywhere we're going wrong and not just isolate singular aspects.

is it wrong that i have this image of moyes getting uncontrollable rage and this gives him the strength to pick anichebe up above his head screaming stuff about them all being **** and then hurling him at the rest of the team????
its the one thing that has cheered me up all night

I don't think an industrial crane could lift Anichebe, to be honest.

I think this season is a real challenge for him as a manager and to be fair to him he handled it with dignity - ( See Bentiez Rafael). Not only has he had nothing to spend, even on a loan, his squad has been weakened by 8 players since May. In that scenario, your options in terms of changeing a game are limited.

But i take your point, he is certainly not infalable or gets everything correct from a tactical or strategy point of view, he was done today, Bolton had a game plan that worked well, they pressed Mofro and Arteta and cut of our usual supply line, got their noses in front at home and didnt let us dictate our style of play, flow or momentum. Coyle won the battle of wits today, yet when you look at the bench there werent great options in terms of making an impact in that style of game. It wasnt a game for Billy or Beckford, more an away day slog they wouldnt have shined in. He has to much faith in STC and we sacrifise a lot in terms of style of play, playing to others strengths and adaptability in our system, having the team built around Tim. In terms of subsituions, i think its more about our options on the bench rather then a reluctance - someone said in another thread we should have put Duffy up front for the last ten mins as he scored a lot of goals for the reserves this season - ill let that snippet illustrate my point.

In a wider context, i think consistencey and familiarity are positive in management in theory we should have a cohesive unit, i have wondered recently have some of our players gone stale or over familiar with Davey. There are only so many times you can hear the same person give the same rouseing teamtalk, the halftime rollicking, or have your back against the wall and find the motivation for that extra ten percent in the second half. Added to that, a lot of our players are prob massively fatiqued, Baines, Mofro, Distin, Cahill, Neville etc have played an awfull lot of football this season and it looked as if knocks and bumps and heavey legs have caught up with them today. Again a by product of squad weakening, lack of investment - which in its self can lead to an apathey or lack of motvation in players. We are also seeing this in our fan base as well, and from top to bottom at the moment there is a malaise, fatiuqe and apathey dragging the club down.

Something has to give, what that is i dont know yet, but i feel it coming, i pray its not David Moyes - but i think it will be.

That's a fine, if mightily depressing, post there Neiler.

It's not all Moyes's fault but he is to blame for a portion of it ! HE picks the team , HE chose to play a fat waste of space with 7 career goals to his name over a striker who has been here 6 months and already has 6 Everton goals to his name ! Can someone explain why Heitinga was on the pitch after that ****house of a tackle that led to Blackpool's second equaliser last week ? Can someone explain why Neville was playing after his pathetic statement about what a massive club spurs are and how it was an honour to be linked with them ?? Check the record books Neville you tit !!

I don't pick the team so it sure as he'll wasn't my fault we lost again ! 6 wins from 26 games ??!! Woeful ! Moyes let yak go out on loan , let Vaughan go without a replacement !! He didn't want sturridge (3 goals in as many games) and we are still losing players in training !!! Tell me somebody , if we were 3 or 4th now would moyes be getting lauded ?? Of course he would so it rings true that when he under performs he should take some ****in responsibility !!! He has been sulking for weeks !

However, like I stated it's not all his fault ! The players and in particular mr £75k a week spaniard whose been useless all season needs to shoulder some responsibility ! I saw someone say he played well today , well I'm sorry but they are easily pleased ! Our keeper has also been shocking at times '! 10 games without a clean sheet !?! 61 consecutive games where we have been losing at half time we have never won !!! My opinion is that this team needs breaking up sharpish !

The board are a joke , Bullshine Billy especially !! Our CEO who is a complete tool and a lapdog for ken****e !!

Finally , us the fans ! Too many games at home are like a morgue ! There is a massive air of lethargy around the club and we are part of it ! We are in trouble at the moment peeps make no mistake !!

Cant argue with any of that.
