Why shouldn't he be looking around? What is he actually doing wrong? Unlike you, me, and everyone on here, he isn't an Evertonian. He's been here 11 years and clearly done a very good job trying to put out a forrest fire with his own pi$$.

He's perfectly entitled to see out the remainder of his contract and then do as he chooses isn't he?

Just disagree with the idea of the manager of Everton treating the place like a stepping stone, don't know if it's a generational thing or what but RS, Utd, Arsenal fans wouldn't put up with it - don't see why Evertonians should.

On top of that there's plenty of occupations that suggesting you're looking around for a new position gets your desk cleared and security called to escort you off the premises. It shouldn't have come to him prevaricating in the press about January then changing it to summer he should have been called in and an exit strategy reached (actually think it has and he could be gone this week) but this is pissing off even his most ardent supporters - not good at all.
