Funny how the opinion on Martinez has shifted wildly from him winning the cup to getting relegated. So fickle.

He'd definitely do a decent job here, highlighted by the copious reasons given throughout this thread, not just hurp derp he got them relegated.

He won a cup, nobody is disputing that fact. Thats brilliant

Why is the fact he consistently fights, and now lost a relegation battle not being discussed? It takes a certain level of management to win a cup and get relegated shortly after.

All the proper big-time serious managers don't end up being guests on MOTD or Soccer AM. Think have u ever seen SAF or Mourinho or Wenger on these types of shows. This leaves Pereira as the only option out of Mackay/Martinez and himself. It has to be done.

We could go around the houses forever and a day here and still not realistically get anywhere. I would not like to be Bill Kenwright at any moment really but especially in these current times. He will not be getting much sleep at night as this next appointment, if he doesn't get it right could well finish him for good and set our club back years and years.
