I wonder if Mcoist is actually any good? Not that I'd want us to risk it to find out like. He's got a bit of personality about him and played to a decent standard so might do something in the future.
Rangers fans adore him but even they, or a large proportion of them at least , think he's not up to the job

Im not a huge fan of bookies list to be honest , moyes was favourite for villa & he had zero interest in the job. That list is worrying for me only in that it kind of illustrates the dearth of quality candidates . i've no doubt there are others out there who would be a better bet and as I and many others have said I'd be distinctly underwhelmed to have seen moyes on the list prior to his arrival . So I try and be positive .

It's quite a lazy list really. It only really includes Premier League managers that are either available/hugely underwhelming. I don't know about any possible available managers in Europe but surely some of them would be better bets than the majority of that list.
I agree on Moyes. I would have been very underwhelmed to see a manager who's best experience was two seasons in the Championship on the list of possible candidates, but then we were flirting with relegation at the time, now we're in and around the Europa League spots, so I think if Moyes was on that list now as opposed to then I guess we'd be more annoyed than we would have been back then. If that makes sense.

Really hope Moyes stays. He is the best there is in the transfer market. Our transfer budget is a pittance in the modern game, and even if any future manager gets value for money he won't get better value for money than Moyes.

Can some one please enlighten me. I am not really a betting man so I do not know how the system really works. Are the odds bookies place not driven by bets placed by customers? or do they set their own odds initially. If the former, that implies some people have made some shocking bets!
