....also, swapping Cahill & Fellaini midway through the second half was a balls up, made no sense whatsoever. Cahill is not a defensive midfielder and Fellaini is not a finisher. Cahill was ****e all game so why not just replace him, not move him

From my seat(15yrds to the left of the halfway line) you could see massive gaps forming where we had no players, they sat so far back and Liverpool just pushed and filled in the space

Reporter: "It was an excellent first half performance, was it a case of trying to push on in the second half?"

Moyes: <chuckles> "It was a case of knowing we would be put under pressure. We knew they would come at us in the second half, but I actually thought we had weathered that after an hour. We made a mistake and it handed Liverpool all the impetus, just when it looked as though we were frustrating them."

From what we can gather, the half time team talk was all about Liverpool and how they will come at us. Very sad. How about focusing on our strengths and pushing on for a second Mr Moyes? Two words - INFERIORITY COMPLEX!

maybe bullshiit too. easily digested by an emotional fan-base too. he couldve made his half time talk like " we`ll shock these yard dogs and come out all guns blazing and run ragged not giving them a second on the ball, theyre rubbish so we only need to hussle them and theyll fold etc "

good one mate, made me laugh that.

He's hanging Distin out to dry there. He wants to look in the mirror - the shithouse.
not reading it but................ distin needs hanging out of, he casually moved over to the touch-line to buy a hot dog instead of tear-arsing after the sewer rat when he made that pass back. the fay-guckin, tway-gat

i`m out to lunch today harry so i`m not sure if youre being sarky or not coz i`m actually being kind of serious (for once). moyles couldnt out-manurevre a fcking man hole cover.

It looked ominous from the beginning of the 2nd half. Lucky we held out for as long as we did. Might as well of brought off Jelavic for a bloody defender the way we played and set our stall out to cling on to a 1-0 from HT onwards, that's how bad it was. He was so isolated and had nothing to do in the 2nd half really.

I don't understand were this good first half has come from. they started off the better side, we looked nervous and couldn't keep the ball. Howard really dosn't help the team with his constant hoofs.

We then seem to settle down and have about 10 minutes were we pass the ball on the floor and we look like we are getting a grip of the game, then liverpool look the nervous team who can't keep hold of the ball.

Then it happens!! we score. liverpool are there for the taking, their fans are stunned and their players heads have dropped.

The match re starts and we (as usual) retreat about 20 yards, we suddenly turn into a non league side who couldn't make one pass never mind string a few together. i thought we have given them a life line. we manage to hang on to half time.

Second half and i am thinking if we keep the ball and start playing like we did in tat 10 minute spell we could get a second and breathe easier. No!! we get sent out to defend and when we have posession we give it straight back as the majority of our players looked terrified to cross the half way line. once again our super manager failed to see what and where it was going wrong and once again he failed to try and change it instead hoping for the gods to shine and we can hold on. the whole everton end could see what was going wrong.

Liverpool wasn't great but deserved to win, probably by more. We on the other hand have ourselves a group of sh1thouse players who are led by probably the biggest sh1thouse of a manager in all the leagues.

I have woke up this morning hating this manager and players more than ever (apart from a couple of players).

People making excuses really are blinded to what happened yesterday. This wasn't a one off, this has happened in every important game we have ever played in.

Spot on. Sick of watching the same ****e every time we play one of the "big 4". We haven't won a game under this **** at Analfield, Old Trafford, Arsenal or Stamford Bridge for good reason.

What I did see after the match was Distin go to and twitter the fans after the match to graciously apologize for his mistake.
I didn't however see the same from David Moyes?
