Player Valuation: £2.5m
Reporter: "It was an excellent first half performance, was it a case of trying to push on in the second half?"

Moyes: <chuckles> "It was a case of knowing we would be put under pressure. We knew they would come at us in the second half, but I actually thought we had weathered that after an hour. We made a mistake and it handed Liverpool all the impetus, just when it looked as though we were frustrating them."

From what we can gather, the half time team talk was all about Liverpool and how they will come at us. Very sad. How about focusing on our strengths and pushing on for a second Mr Moyes? Two words - INFERIORITY COMPLEX!

He's hanging Distin out to dry there. He wants to look in the mirror - the shithouse.

he's not, or he'd have said "one of our players made a mistake" rather than "we"

but he's still not saying what I want to hear him say

ie) "I got it wrong"

**** off Moyes. Keep hold of the ball in their half, pressure them and look to get a second. He ****ing lost us that game as much as Distin, but at least Distin's was a split second mistake and not a gameplan.

**** off with your negativity! ****!

He's letting everyone know that his tactics would have worked if Distin hadn't ****ed up.

He's forgetting the 5 other chances Liverpool had to win the game that should have been taken.

Spineless from him, really poor.

I ****ing hate the **** at the moment. He's a great manager but a spineless **** who flaps it against Liverpool every year!

Every derby he sends out a team to only lose by a couple.

is he a great manager though ? that's what I've been asking myself today

he's worked wonders with us, as a good manager would, but he has won nothing

I love him for taking us from what we were, perrenial relegation strugglers, to an established top half team

that's what good managers do, it's what they are coached to do,
and if they are good at their job, they apply it, and keep their job

but great managers win things, and unfortunately, our cupboard is still bare

Don't win trophies any more
You buy them.
Unfortunately we can't afford them

way of the world that mate

but I think we could have won todays game with the players at Moyes disposal
possibly the final too, we've beaten spurs and chelsea this season so why not ?

today wasn't about lack of funds, it was about lack of guts/balls

and that's down to the manager
