Moyes pondering 5 year 15M deal

The news broke in the Sunday's that Moyes will improve the conditions of his contract.

Seems to be the current trend at the club! Better to have people like AJ and Moyes tied down than over the hill Campbells, Bilics, Fergusons and the like.

Who would bet against a title bid in 2012!

I have to say and bite my tongue doing it, having been one of Moyes critics the last couple of years have been better. Does not mean that he is infallible but I would bet that if he was available, he would have no difficulty finding another top club.

So my point is why limit the contract to 5 years?

Do what?

I'm just saying that most contracts are 5 years. They can be 3 years into it and then replace it with another 5 year contract. Very rarely do you get players or managers signing longer deals.
