Moyes misses the point

hahaha unbelivable....in my opinion, not on champ man or whatever you play, i think moyes is limited as a manager come match day....He has his talents which i mentioned in previous threads and has done wonders with the club and squad to this point. Now this is all in place i feel a change of manager, ie someone in the same calliber as Martin Jol, could take this club to the next level....I think moyes has done all he can with Everton and the only way now under him is backwards....Moyes is now restricting Evertons progress on the field due to his lack of understanding of the game...As i said previously i am happy for him to be given a shot This season "our season as some say" as we probably owe him that, however i have seen nothing over recent seasons that tells me he has any chance of changing his tactical management style, or lack of should i say, and i would put money on with anyone that whilst moyes is in charge and we come to that point of the season again where we just start to get there, we fail misserably because moyes rarely wins games that matter to the future of the club....

THIS- but it will be a few seasons before most posters on here catch on to what you`re saying

By which you mean he lost the game against Villarreal and the final against Chelsea. Not the biggest pool of results to judge anyone by is it?

Martin Jol? Didnt he manage Ajax to a pummelling by Steve McClarens Twente side?
I'd rather get Capello in when all the knives are in his back.
Want to talk up Dave Jones as a candidate, then that I can hear, but lets see him a.) Finally get Cardiff up and b.) see Moyes ask to leave for Celtic or Man Utd.

Correct. And were very much still a work in progress.

I find it astounding for anyone to be suggesting that were better off without Moyes.

Snark asides, I understand where they're coming from, to be honest. I think he's got his selections wrong in the last two games and he doesn't do well with game changing subsitutes. And his record in europe and in derbies stinks. He needs to really challenge for something this year otherwise I might join the Moyes out bandwagon myself.

But is there a manager out there who can improve us given how good he is in the transfer market and at building a team spirit and coaching players ect?

And given this is our first season with a fully fit squad in yonks and Moyes has massively improved the team and taken us to a major cup final and three years in the top 5 without having any money to spend, he's certainly earned more patience then he's been shown by some fans.

You're right, it's completely deluded to expect Moyes to ever qualify us for Europe. The four previous times he did it were clearly flukes.

I'd really really love to see us move to the next level and not just be in the hunt for a Europa league place...but regularly qualifying for the champions league...however as good a manager as you could find, would not be able to take us there without serious financial support.

Call it how you see it but it's not Moyes tactical and managerial limitations that are holding this club back....
